Chapter Community Grants Program

The Georgia Chapter awards grants in communities across the state that will address unmet maternal and child health needs. These grants are one way the March of Dimes pursues its mission of saving babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality. Community grants are a minimum of $10,000 and must address the availability and quality of Health Care/Prevention Services for Women and Infants.                                                                                                                     2009 Chapter Grant is now closed. Be looking for 2010 chance in the Spring.

For those who submitted on time, a multi-disciplinary volunteer Program Services Committee will review the Letters of Intent for 2009.  Applicants selected to submit a full proposal will be notified by mail on May 27, 2008. Full proposals will be due to the chapter by August 1, 2008. Please be advised that Letters of Intent and proposals are non-binding. Chapter grants do not support scientific research projects. For more information on research-funding opportunities, please refer to the March of Dimes National Web site at http://www.marchofdimes.com/, or e-mail the Office of Research and Grants Administration at researchgrants@marchofdimes.com.
