The March of Dimes, Georgia Chapter presents our inaugural event, The Farmer & The Chef. The event is a fundraiser supporting our mission for stronger, healthier babies. The Farmer & The Chef, the premiere dining event for the March of Dimes, Georgia Chapter, will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead.

The premise of the event is simple: pair local farmers with local chefs for a night of unique fine dining. Together, the Chefs and Farmers will prepare an unforgettable four-course dinner while helping to raise funds supporting the March of Dimes' mission of ensuring that all babies are born healthy.

We believe that eating healthy is vital for stronger, healthier babies. We are excited to partner with local farmers and chefs and to promote buying fresh, healthy foods from our own back yard!

The event itself will feature an exciting live and silent auction with packages ranging from fine dining, vacation getaways, sports packages and spa packages, just to name a few. Guests will enjoy a fantastic four-course dinner prepared by the local chefs using ingredients from local farmers.

Thank you to our emcee, Crystal Egger,  meteorologist for The Weather Channel®, for hosting our inaugural event. Here is Crystal's story of how she was directly affected by the mission of the March of Dimes:

For reasons I may never know, my daughter, Sayla Rae flew into this world exactly three months ahead of her due date, weighing a whopping 1 lb. 14 ounces.  The most exciting time of my life turned upside down in an instant.  She went on to spend 3 agonizing months covered with tubes inside a lonely incubator in the NICU.  Now, at age 3, she is healthy, strong, energetic, smart, and absolutely perfect.  She will forever be my miracle baby and proof that angels are everywhere!

I am thrilled to be involved with the March of Dimes, an organization close to my heart.  I look forward to sharing Sayla's inspirational story, raising awareness about prematurity and providing hope to other preemie families.

Exclusivity: Your choice is based on first-confirmed sponsor, first-choice of opportunity to sponsor. The date your signed sponsorship contract is received puts you in line for choosing your night of opportunity to sponsor.

Gold Sponsor - $10,000

The Gold Sponsors features experience and branding with one of our farmers or chefs. Gold sponsor guests receive unique VIP visit from a farmer or chef at the event, plus pre-event marketing benefits and night of event recognition.
Exclusivity: Choice of Farmer or Chef to sponsor is based on first-confirmed sponsor, first-choice of farmer/chef to sponsor. The date your signed sponsorship contract is received puts you in line for choosing your farmer/chef to sponsor once all farmer/chefs are confirmed.

Silver Sponsor - $5,000

Entertain your clients throughout the event, networking with farmers, chefs, vintners, socialites and professionals in a fun environment while supporting the March of Dimes mission. This sponsorship level allows Silver Sponsors to entertain 10 guests and receive name recognition at the event.
