The March of Dimes Mission
To improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. We carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives.
Grand Rounds
The primary purpose of the grand grounds program is to provide continuing education for perinatal health care providers on topics relevant to the March of Dimes mission.
2004 Community Grant Awards
The March of Dimes Chapter Community Grants Program helps save babies by providing funding to a variety of community and/or public agencies to support services targeting populations in great need.
Pregnancy Workshop
A step-by step prenatal curriculum that informs women how to care for themselves and their babies during pregnancy. This curriculum is designed for members of the public with no formal medical training.
Health Education Materials
The Hawaii Chapter provides March of Dimes and locally created health education materials to health care providers, social service agencies and educational institutions to support patient, client and public education. E-mail us for information.
Post Polio Support Group of Hawaii
The Hawaii Chapter hosts the newsletter and bimonthly meetings of the Post Polio Support Group of Hawaii. The group meets to learn and share information regarding Post Polio syndrome. Meetings are open to the public. Call (808) 973-2155 for details.
