In 2008 Kmart and March of Dimes celebrated 25 years of a partnership that has yet to be rivaled. Kmart customer and associate contributions continue to reach heights yet to be attained by any corporation in our history. 2009 celebrates the beginning of our 26th year of partnership and celebrates Kmart’s 17th year as the exclusive national mass merchandise retail sponsor of March for Babies. This initiative is part of Kmart for KidsSM, the umbrella program for Kmart’s philanthropic initiatives, which focuses on improving children’s health and wellness. ACE Cash Express
ACE Cash Express is proud to take an active part in fund raisers and service efforts benefiting the communities where they operate stores, donating a portion of the company's net profit to charitable and community-based programs. ACE supports March of Dimes by dedicating their "Give A Little" promotion conducted in stores throughout the months of March and April. 

ACE Cash Express also serves as a March of Dimes National Sponsor of Hispanic Outreach.  Since 2008, March of Dimes, in collaboration with ACE Cash Express, will once again launch the March of Dimes Visa Prepaid Card.  Consumers can use this re-loadable debit card to pay for purchases, with a portion of the purchase amount donated by ACE to March of Dimes to underwrite education programs that serve Hispanic women and their families.

Bank of America
As a longtime supporter of March of Dimes March for Babies raising more than $25 million over the past ten years, Bank of America's efforts in 2008 placed them as the No. 5 team out of 20,000 nationwide. More than 8,000 Bank of America employees, their family and friends, participate annually in March for Babies fielding the largest team nationwide. Creative fund-raising activities, strong local volunteer relationships and executive leadership are among just a few of the elements contributing to their campaign's continued success.

Bank of the West

Bank of the West has a long, proud history of community service and volunteerism. One of the most enduring partnerships is with March of Dimes. Over the past fifteen years, Bank of the West employees have banded together and demonstrated their leadership, creativity and commitment to March of Dimes through March for Babies and have positively affected the communities within their enterprise footprint. Total fundraising support since 1992 is an astounding $5.5 million, which has provided much needed funding to support the March of Dimes mission.

Big 5 continues to play a vital role in driving the competitiveness, fun and ultimately the fund raising in March of Dimes March for Babies for families everywhere. Since 2000, the company has participated in March for Babies by engaging their customers through an annual in-store fundraising promotion. Customers also can pick up a local March for Babies sponsor form in stores.

Centene Corporation is a leading multi-line healthcare enterprise that provides programs and related services to individuals receiving benefits under Medicaid, including the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Their partnership includes national sponsorship of March of Dimes March for Babies for 15 consecutive years, as well as national sponsorship of the Prematurity Campaign since 2003. The company and its employees have contributed nearly $22 million to help March of Dimes improve the health of individuals and their families, and foster healthier communities. Citi
The proud tradition that has linked Citi with March of Dimes through March for Babies demonstrates their responsibility to their franchise, which calls upon Citi employees to take an active role in the communities where they work and live. From all parts of the country, thousands of Citi employees take to the streets, the shores, the mountains, the parks on March for Babies weekend and celebrate the positive affect they have made for their communities and the nation. As a national March of Dimes Partner, Citi's total contribution since 1997 of $24 million has truly saved the lives of thousand of babies.

Clear Channel Communications
Clear Channel Radio, one of  the largest radio ownership groups in the U.S. with more than 1,000 local radio stations, has partnered with March of Dimes nationally for two years by endorsing the Prematurity Campaign, encouraging local station participation in the  Campaign, and working closely with March of Dimes to develop robust year-round partnerships in local markets nationwide.

Continental Airlines
Continuing in their fourth year as a national sponsor of March of Dimes March for Babies and the Foundation's distinguished National Ambassador Program, Continental Airlines has enhanced their commitment of in-kind product, advertising and promotion. Through in-flight and online media, communication to Rewards members and encouragement of March for Babies participation to an employee base 42,000 strong, Continental is helping March of Dimes reach hundreds of thousands of families with important information about having healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. Since 2006, Continental's Team has raised more than $1 million for the March for Babies campaign.

Destination Maternity Corporation (Motherhood Maternity)
Motherhood® Maternity, the largest maternity retailer in the U.S., a national sponsor of the March of Dimes Prematurity Campaign and a retail partner for March for Babies, is committed to providing vital information to help pregnant women decrease the risk of premature birth. Throughout the year, Motherhood conducts an in-store donation promotion, and currently Motherhood customers can purchase a co-branded bracelet (with a portion of the proceeds benefiting March of Dimes), which delivers tips on a healthy pregnancy. In addition, first-time purchasers in Motherhood Stores receive gift bags with a bilingual March of Dimes Pregnancy & Newborn Health Education Center brochure, providing instructions on how to access information on pregnancy topics.

Discovery Health
Entering their seventh year as a national media partner of March of Dimes March for Babies, Discovery Health takes viewers inside the fascinating and informative world of health and medicine to experience firsthand, compelling, real-life stories of medical breakthroughs and human triumphs. The company supports March of Dimes by generating awareness of the prevalence of preterm births nationwide and disseminating important, lifesaving health messages to families. March of Dimes March for Babies and Prematurity Campaign television public service advertisements run continuously throughout the year, particularly during popular prime time programs such as "Birth Day", a regular program focusing on the miracle and challenges of birth.

Famous Footwear
Entering its sixth year of national sponsorship of March of Dimes March for Babies, Famous Footwear continues to be a pacesetter in the specialty retailer category. Their successful in-store, customer donation fundraising campaigns in the spring and fall raise more than $1 million annually.  Famous also collaborates with Dr. Scholl’s to offer consumers the “Official Shoe of March for Babies,” which is available exclusively at stores nationwide and online at famousfootwear.com.  Since 1997, Famous Footwear customers and associates have contributed more than $8 million. They rank as one of the top 10 March for Babies teams nationwide.

Through sponsorships of March for Babies, the NICU Family Support® project, Bikers for Babies® events, and their own Be a Hero for Babies Day, Farmers ended 2008 contributing more than $4.8 million, and resulting in more than $23 million over its 20-year history the company shares with March of Dimes. Farmers makes it easy for people to join the March for Babies – local agent offices are March for Babies registration sites. As the nation’s third-largest personal lines property and casualty insurance group, Farmers is committed to improving the communities where their customers, agents and employees live and work and to continue to help get babies back where they belong – healthy and strong.

FedEx
FedEx promotes a culture that values community service and good corporate citizenship. Since 1979, FedEx has supported March of Dimes through participation in March for Babies. During this time, FedEx has raised millions of dollars for our common mission of "Deliveries, on Time". As National sponsor of both March for Babies and our Prematurity Campaign, FedEx's generous financial support and in-kind donations have allowed us to reach an increasingly wide audience of prospective parents with our important health messages. FedEx employees continue to provide leadership on our Boards of Directors and event committees. In addition, each spring, tens of thousands of FedEx employees from all operating companies join their local FedEx March for Babies team and help raise funds to save babies' lives.

First Response
A brand of Church & Dwight Co., Inc., First Response is the market leader in home pregnancy testing. 2009 marks the companies fourth year of a national partnership, which aims to reach women of childbearing age and promote the importance of early pregnancy detection and prenatal care. Joint messaging, which is weaved into extensive tagged advertising, co-branding on packaging, literature/product displays and in-store promotion, focuses on informing women that the sooner they know they are pregnant, the sooner they can start giving their baby a healthy start. First Response is a national March for Babies sponsor and in past years funded the development of the March of Dimes "Are You Ready" booklet available free to consumer.

Grain Foods Foundation
The Grain Foods Foundation, and its members, are committed to raising awareness for the important role that B vitamins and folic acid, in particular, play in helping prevent birth defects. Some members feature the Folic Acid for a Healthy Pregnancy seal on select products at retail to help women quickly and easily identify grain products, such as white bread, that are enriched with folic acid. The Grain Foods Foundation, a joint venture of members of the milling and baking industries, formed in 2004 and is dedicated to advancing the public's understanding of the beneficial role grain-based foods play in the human diet.

Gund
Gund, the leading soft toy manufacturer in the U.S. produces a line of products, called "Sweetness", to benefit March of Dimes. The line includes a total of five products and accompanies a $100,000 donation by the company. For more than a century, Gund has been creating unique teddy bears and other soft toys recognized the world over for their quality and innovation. Award-winning Gund products appeal to all ages, from infants up, and are perfect for both play and collecting. Gund products may be found in gift, specialty, toy, book, museum and department stores and many other retail outlets. .

Hess Corporation
A leading global independent energy company, Hess is committed to meeting the highest standards of corporate citizenship and creating a long-lasting, positive impact on the communities in which they do business. Conducting a fund-raising promotion in retail locations along the East coast of the U.S. and participating in March for Babies, Hess has raised more than $900,000 since 2001.

Johnson & Johnson
Johnson’s® Baby brand conducted a retail campaign during Prematurity Awareness Month (November) that continued through December.  A donation of $0.10 was made for every Johnson’s® Baby item purchased in stores nationwide, resulting in a $100,000 donation to March of Dimes.  Components of the campaign included an insert into national newspapers, store displays and an appearance by a March of Dimes spokesperson on Univision.

KinderCare Learning Corporation

KinderCare Learning Centers emphasize whole-child development through age-appropriate learning activities. Like March of Dimes, their dedicated staff is committed to giving every child the very best start in life.  Since 2000, staff and families at the company's 1800+ locations have participated in March of Dimes March for Babies, and have contributed over $10 million to advance our mission.  Through their March of Dimes campaign, KinderCare is providing the next generation with their first volunteer experience, and teaching them the personal satisfaction that comes from community service.

As the world's foremost imaging innovator, KODAK helps consumers, businesses, and creative professionals unleash the power of pictures and printing.  The company partnered with March of Dimes during Mother’s Day by conducting a special offer for a free KODAK Picture Movie DVD to preserve special times with mom.  KODAK Picture Kiosk donated $50,000 towards March of Dimes research and community programs.

Procter & Gamble's Pampers brand, the leading diaper brand in the world, has supported March of Dimes through the online “Gifts to Grow” program. Throughout 2008, the Pampers Childbirth Education curriculum included information from March of Dimes on having a healthy, full-term pregnancy. Childbirth educators throughout the U.S. use the Pampers curriculum in their childbirth classes, reaching women in approximately their 6th month of pregnancy.

Publix Super Markets, Inc.
This regional supermarket chain has raised more than $28 million since 1998. In 2008, through the sale of paper sneaker cut-outs, the company raised more than $3.25 million for March of Dimes. Publix also engages their employees in the March of Dimes mission by encouraging team participation in March for Babies annually, ranking the grocery as the No. 4 March for Babies Team in 2008 among 20,000 participating companies nationwide.

sanofi pasteur (Sounds of Pertussis campaign)
Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of sanofi aventis, has joined forces with March of Dimes on a new educational campaign called “Sounds of Pertussis” to raise awareness of pertussis, also known as whooping cough.  Singer, actress, superstar and, most of all, mom, Jennifer Lopez is the spokesperson for the campaign and is featured on the campaign’s website, in TV and radio public service announcements (PSAs) in English and Spanish, and a four-part Spanish radio novela.  Sanofi Pasteur is a proud national sponsor of March for Babies 2009 and Ms. Lopez is the event’s 2009 National Honorary Chairperson.

United Auto Workers/Big 3
Since 2005 United Auto Workers (UAW), one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America, has partnered with the Big Three Automakers - Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, and GM - in a coordinated fundraising effort to support March of Dimes March for Babies. Endorsed by Ron Gettelfinger, UAW President, and top management from the automakers, this partnership has resulted in over $3 million raised for America's babies. Union liaisons along with representatives from management hold key positions on March of Dimes committees and boards across the country. In addition, campaign leaders seek ways to expand their team by engaging auto dealerships and industry vendors.

More than 2,500 Wachovia employees participate in March of Dimes March for Babies in every state in which they do business.
