March of Dimes provides moms and families with information and support before, during and after they have their baby. Learn about some of the programs and services supported by the Illinois Chapter here.
The Illinois Chapter is proud to offer two major conferences that are unique to the March of Dimes: an annual Perinatal Nursing Conference, which began in 1975 and takes place every spring for health professionals, and a day-long gathering of Latina youth and their female role models, which encourages strong communication around healthy relationships, development and sexuality. Called Celebrando La Mujer Latina, the event occurs every fall. For more information on each event, contact Anna in Program Services.
The March of Dimes Illinois Chapter awards grants to local organizations to meet the urgent needs of babies and families in our communities. Learn about the initiatives we’re supporting and how you can help give babies a strong, healthy futures.
