Jonas Salk Health Leadership Awards Chicago, Illinois
The March of Dimes honors Illinois health care leaders for their exemplary leadership in maternal and infant health in the areas of nursing, medicine, research, and public and community health. This year's honorees are Maria Reyes (nursing) from Rush University Medical Center, Dr. Rama Bhat (medicine) from the University of Illinois - Chicago Medical Center, Dr. Emmet Hirsch (research) from Evanston Hospital and Dr. Arden Handler (public and community health) from the University of Illinois - Chicago, School of Public Health. There is also a special recognition for the Save Abandoned Babies Foundation.
