Celebrando la Mujer Latina...Un Dia Para Ti

This event encourages wellness of the mind, body and spirit though personal development workshops presented entirely in Spanish. Past workshops have focused on healthy lifestyles, parenting, self-esteem, healthy relationships and more. These workshops provide participants with self-knowledge, and will ultimately empower individuals to realize their full potential.

Participants also receive information on nutrition and the importance of taking Vitamin B, as well as folic acid to reduce the high incidence of neural tube defects in babies born to Hispanic mothers. The 2008 sessions are:
