WHITE CASTLE CAMPAIGN RAISES A GRAND TOTAL OF $45,470!

Chicago, Illinois, March 16th 2006- White Castle's support of the March of Dimes Prematurity Awareness Wristband cutout campaign raised $45,470 throughout Chicagoland area White Castles! 

This is the largest dollar amount raised since White Castle began this in-store promotion in 1998. 

White Castle locations throughout the Chicago area teamed up with the March of Dimes Prematurity Campaign by selling Prematurity Awareness Wristband cutouts for $1.00 beginning January 29th  and continuing through February 28th, 2006.  The wristband cutouts were displayed inside each participating White Castle along with Prematurity Awareness literature and information in poster form as a show of support for the March of Dimes. 

Premature birth is the number one cause of infant death.  One in eight babies is born premature.   White Castle is committed to supporting the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.  For more information about the March of Dimes visit: www.marchofdimes.com/illinois/
