Get Involved
Volunteers are the driving force behind the foundation, giving generously of their time and talent to serve in a variety of ways. Currently we need the following volunteers:
Program Services: Seeking professionals statewide to serve on our Program Services Committees. Individuals with maternal child health, public health, rural health and social work. Activities include grant reviews, outreach and awareness activities, healthcare education efforts and more. If interested, contact us by e-mail: sknight@marchofdimes.com.
March for Babies Special Event Committees: Volunteers are needed in communities all across the state to sell sponsorship opportunities, recruit volunteers and new teams, and to plan and implement kickoffs, rallies and walk day activities. E-mail: vthornley@marchofdimes.com.
Special Event Volunteers: There are many opportunities available for involvement with Signature Chefs Auctions, Health Leadership Awards, Faces of Our Success Awards and 3-on-3 Basketball. Partner
Several clubs and organizations partner with the March of Dimes to help further our mission. These groups participate in fundraising events and program activities that reach out to the community. Sponsorship of March of Dimes events and programs promotes a positive corporate image, which supports marketing and sales goals.
