2008 Community Grants Program
For the year 2008, the March of Dimes Illinois Chapter will not offer a request for proposals as we dedicate all funding toward Centering Pregnancy® programs.  Visit us in 2008 to learn more about this innovative initiative.

Healthy Babies, Healthy Business
The March of Dimes created "HBHB" to give companies access to a wealth of high quality pregnancy and newborn health content in a cost-effective format that is easy to manage, implement and promote directly via your company Intranet, Web site or Extranet.





Comenzando Bien
Comenzando bien is the March of Dimes prenatal education program for Hispanic women. It was developed in partnership with the National Alliance for Hispanic Health and is culturally and linguistically appropriate for Hispanic women.





Youth: Chain Reaction
Our Chain Reaction Youth Leadership Program provides school-based teens with meaningful learning experiences while teaching the importance of community service.





Pregnancy Workshop
The Pregnancy Workshop is a step-by-step prenatal curriculum that informs women how to care for themselves and their babies during pregnancy.





Project Alpha
This collaborative project of the March of Dimes and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. provides young males with education, motivation and skill-building on issues of responsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.





Stork's Nest
Stork’s Nest provides prenatal education and incentives to low income pregnant women. The program motivates women to get early, regular prenatal care through earned incentives and educates women on self-care during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.

Maternal and Infant Mortality Summit

4th Annual Prematurity Summit
The 4th Annual Prematurity Summit was held on October 26th, 2007 in Oak Brook..





34th Annual Perinatal Conference
“Lost! Anything But Normal: Care of Mothers & Babies in 2009”

Volunteer Leadership Conference





Grand Rounds
The primary purpose of the grand rounds program is to provide continuing education for perinatal health care providers on topics relevant to the March of Dimes mission: prevention of infant mortality, birth defects and preterm birth.
