| The primary purpose of the grand rounds program is to provide continuing education for perinatal health care providers on topics relevant to the March of Dimes mission: prevention of infant mortality, birth defects and preterm birth. Grand rounds strengthen the relationship between the March of Dimes and the medical, nursing and public health communities.
The Illinois Chapter of the March of Dimes can partner with your organization to provide continuing education free of charge to nurses or doctors in your hospital or organization. Topics can include Smoking Cessation, prevention and treatment of preterm labor, caring for babies in the NICU and any topic that is covered by the March of Dimes Nursing Modules.
