White Castle sells Prematurity Awareness Wristband Cutouts for $1.00
Chicago, Illinois February 6, 2006-White Castle locations throughout the Chicago area are helping support the March of Dimes Prematurity Campaign by selling Prematurity Awareness Wristband cutouts for $1.00 beginning January 29th and continuing through February 28th, 2006. The wristband cutouts are displayed inside each participating White Castle along with Prematurity Awareness literature and information in poster form as a show of support for the March of Dimes.
Premature birth is the number one cause of infant death. One in eight babies is born premature. White Castle began participating in this in-store special promotion in 1998, and in 2004, 75 restaurants in the Chicago land area raised a grand total of $29,207.50. White Castle is committed to supporting the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
