Celebrando La Mujer Latina

Annually, the Celebrando La Mujer Latina event brings together more than 300 Latina women from all walks of life ranging in age from youth to elders, to celebrate Latina women and increase awareness of health issues that affect women and their families.

The goals for this year’s event are to equip mothers and daughters with communication tools to talk to each other about sensitive issues including teen relationships and adolescent sexuality and to increase awareness of health issues that affect overall wellness and reproductive health. This event will also provide resources helpful to parents and young people around health and wellness, healthy relationships, emotional issues, and teen pregnancy.

The event is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration includes access to workshops, exhibitors, breakfast, lunch and giveaways. Parking information will be provided in a follow-up email from March of Dimes staff.
