Vitamin B RV Makes Stop at Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration

Indiana Chapter Vitamin-B RV Reaches Thousands at Minority Health Fair
The Indiana Chapter of the March of Dimes rolled out a “vitamin-b R.V.” for the Minority Health Fair at the Indiana Black Expo’s Summer Celebration in Indianapolis July 16 -19, 2009. The event draws over 300,000 people to the Convention Center in Indianapolis each year. The Minority Health Fair is free to all attendees. |
March of Dimes volunteers and staff distributed orange juice, public health education materials and March for Babies information outside the RV, while inside the RV attendees who sat and viewed a 3-minute video about Folic Acid and birth defects prevention received a gift from the March of Dimes. Over the course of the 4 day event more than 500 people viewed the video and thousands more received materials.
