Chapter Office Volunteer Opportunities
Indianapolis
The Indiana Chapter of the March of Dimes provides volunteers with the opportunity to volunteer for events and initiatives impacting the misson across the state. These opportunities include:
Indiana Black Expo/Summer Celebration - July 15th through July 18th at the Indianapolis Convention Center. The March of Dimes Vitamin -B RV from Mount Comfort RV will be rolled into the convention center and volunteers are needed to help distribute Folic Acid edcation materials.
Indiana State Fair Lactation Station - August 6 - 22 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The March of Dimes partners with the Indiana Mother's Milk Bank to provide a safe, quiet, air-conditioned space for Mothers who are breastfeeding at the state fair. Volunteers are needed to help with set up and monitoring the Lactation Station as well as distributing public health education materials.
Pick A Pumpkin Campaign - September 20 through October 8th volunteers are needed from 9-5pm, Monday through Friday to package and prepare for shipping over 850,000 paper pumpkins at our Chapter office. Circle K Convenience Stores in 12 March of Dimes chapters in America sell paper pumpkins $1 at a time to help save babies. You can help us reach our $1 million dollar goal.
