	The March of Dimes Mission To improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. We carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives. Some of our work is highlighted below.

2009 March of Dimes Prematurity Summit
If you are a maternal and infant health professional, please join us for the March Dimes Prematurity Summit in Indianapolis on Saturday, November 21st from 8:30am to 2:30pm.

National Grants in the Indiana Chapter

Grand Rounds - Continuing Education for Health Professionals
The March of Dimes specializes in educational resources for medical professionals that target the most complex and current aspects of perinatal health, including preterm birth, genetics and preconception health.

American Humanics National Conference in Indianapolis
1000 attendees learned how they could be "fit" to have a healthy baby and what the March of Dimes is doing for all babies at the 2009 American Humanics Leadership Institute in Indianapolis in January.
