Fun Ways to do the Serious Work of Saving Babies

A key component of the March of Dimes fight against premture birth, birth defects and infant mortality is public awareness of the problem.

By raising awareness of the crisis facing Indiana's babies you will help generate support to fund March of Dimes research and community programs that save babies' lives.

Does your community have a parade? Gather volunteers and enter a float like they did in Lebanon, Terre Haute and Lafayette!

Does your community hang street banners for special events? Recruit artistic volunteers to make street banners to hang across Main Street during Prematurity Awareness month in November or for WalkAmerica!

Does your community demonstrate strong support for local sports team? Organize volunteers to conduct a special halftime presentation or announcement and "pass the hat" amongst the crowd!

	Prematurity Awareness a Key to Saving Babies Pink and Blue are the colors of the Prematurity Campaign! Help raise awareness with pink and blue lights on porches, businesses, and streets! Paint the town pink and blue with ribbons, banners and signs! November is prematurity awareness month!
	Help Educate others About the Mission When people hear the name March of Dimes they may not know exactly why they should get involved. Help others learn more about the mission of the March of Dimes and you will be helping to save babies' lives!
