Pam Smith knows that the fight against prematurity is important and her daily experiences as motivates her to be a part of the leadership of the March of Dimes in the Sagamore Division.
Smith serves as a member of the March of Dimes Program Services Committee for the past 3 years and has been a nurse for 24 years. Smith sees the need for the March of Dimes in her work as the Department Director for Postpartum and Newborn Nursery at Greater Lafayette Health Services.
Says Smith, "The March of Dimes is so important to the mothers and babies we serve; especially those who have experienced a premature birth. The March of Dimes has been a great partner with out NICU unit to help us meet the needs of these special babies in our community."
