Dubuque, Iowa, October 01, 2011
Nick and Sarah Ryan, Dubuque were recognized as the third top team in fundraising in the nation at the 2011 March of Dimes Volunteer Leadership Conference in Washington D.C. in October. Their family team, Team Elliot raised nearly $50,000 at the Dubuque March for Babies event.
The Ryans, along with March of Dimes staff, met with Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley and shared their story about the effect of premature birth on their family and urged legislators to address the needs of Iowa's babies.
