Join the March of Dimes and key stakeholders from across Kansas and the Kansas City area for the 2009 Prematurity Conference.  This FREE conference features Dr. David T. Tayloe, Jr., President of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a leading national advocate for the health and well being of our children.

Schedule: The Prematurity Conference will bring together medical professionals, insurers, government officials, business leaders, educators and families to discuss factors contributing to Kansas’ premature birth rate and to develop an action plan to prevent preterm birth.   In this forum, experts and stakeholders will share ideas and challenges and discuss model programs designed to reduce premature birth rates.  Conferees will also have the opportunity to join the Kansas Prematurity Coalition comprised of maternal and infant champions statewide!

 

Community Call to Action:  A Medical Conference on Prematurity is presented by the Greater Kansas Chapter of the March of Dimes in collaboration with the Perinatal Association of Kansas and the Mother and Child Health Coalition.
