Future of Nursing awards recognize excellence in nursing in Kansas City.
Kansas City, Missouri, October 04, 2011 The March of Dimes is proud to announce the finalists of the inaugural Future of Nursing Awards. The awards recognize nurses from a variety of fields whose strength, courage and perseverance advances the entire profession. The March of Dimes has a rich history of partnering with the healthcare industry from the successful eradication of polio to searching for the root causes of prematurity. It is that spirit that inspires the Future of Nursing Awards.
With over 200 nominations received from hospitals and medical centers in the Kansas City area, a committee of nursing professionals selected the finalists through a blind judging system.
The winners will be announced at the awards gala on Friday, October 28, at 6:00 p.m. at the Downtown Marriott – Muehlebach Tower.
