Greater Kentucky Chapter
Every year in the United States, more than half a million babies are born too soon, over 8,000 of them right here in Kentucky. With your help, we work to improve the health of babies and support families if something does go wrong.
November is Prematurity Awareness Month. On November 17th, World Prematurity Day, the March of Dimes joins with parent groups and organizations in countries around the world to raise awareness about premature birth and how it can be prevented. Read more about Prematurity Awareness Month in our Program Services Newsletter.
Through programs and services in communities across Kentucky and southern Indiana, we promote healthy pregnancies and babies, and work to prevent premature birth and birth defects. We educate moms and support families in need.
By raising funds, donating your talents or joining us in a local event, you make a positive difference in the health of babies and families in neighborhoods like yours. Learn how you can help and get involved today.
The March of Dimes Greater Kentucky Chapter awards grants to local organizations to meet the urgent needs of babies and families in our communities. Learn about the initiatives we’re supporting and how you can help give babies a strong, healthy future.
