Ask Members of Congress to Sponsor "PREEMIE Act"
25-Oct-05
Informing the U.S. Congress about the devastating effects that prematurity has on families is a key component of the Prematurity Campaign, which has a goal of decreasing and eventually eliminating premature births.  There is a bill pending before Congress that will help us reach this goal which you can help advance.  The “PREEMIE Act” (S.707/H.R. 2861) would expand research, health education, and health services related to preterm birth.  Please contact your Senators and Representatives urging them to cosponsor this important piece of legislation.  You can contact them in one or more of the following ways:  e-mail, letter, phone call, personal meeting.  Below is a letter that you can personalize and send to your elected federal officials.
