Regional Volunteer Advisor Award for the Southern Region
For the past seven years of Natalie’s life, she has made a commitment to dedicate her time and service in order to help educate her community about important issues that involve us all. Through her advocacy she has raised awareness in her community on the topics of parenting, child development, and the importance of fighting prematurity head on. She has been a part of the March of Dimes family in many ways; participating as team-captain in our annual WalkAmerica events, being on various fund-raising committees and also creating her own fund-raising projects in which she raised around $3400! In addition, not only has she been advocating in Warren County, her hometown, but Natalie traveled to Washington D.C. last July, to be a part of the National Youth Leadership Conference which is designed to engage students in active learning and service to their community. Receiving further inspiration from the conference, Natalie contributed to a few service learning projects such as, Girls Inc., Organization Management, and contributed to the idea to form a Kentucky Youth Council which is currently in development. Thanks to Natalie and her heart by choosing to find the March of Dimes, as well as other organizations worthy of her hard work and much appreciated dedication. Congratulations Natalie and keep up the leadership in our community!
