2006 Maryland Chapter Grant Application

The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Purpose:
The Maryland Chapter community grants program is designed to invest in priority projects that support two important foundation strategies:

• Increasing availability of services related to prematurity
• Increasing availability of prevention services

It is anticipated that up to 10 projects will be funded, with awards ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 each.

2006 Grant Schedule
Applications due September 16, 2005
Notification of awards January 2006
Grant period January 2006 – December 2006
