REPORTS TO: Regional Program Director
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement
POSITION PURPOSE:
Support the Western region and chapters as a consultant-trainer in developing, implementing and evaluating community-based maternal & infant health programs.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a primary provider of program technical assistance to region and chapters.
- Train region and chapter staff and volunteers in program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Assist chapters with development, implementation and evaluation of annual program plans.
- Maintain documentation on chapters and regions and identify model chapter program and materials.
- Serve as the liaison between the National Office and chapters in order to insure implementation of national priority programs.
- Support revenue development through mission focused fundraising efforts.
- Assist chapters to secure and manage external grants.
- Guide chapters to position themselves as maternal child health leaders in their states.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Minimum of three years chapter program experience
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
- Experience in program development, implementation and evaluation
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Knowledge of PC and variety of software applications
- Ability to travel extensively
