REPORTS TO: Regional Vice President
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
REASON FOR OPENING: New Position
POSITION PURPOSE:
Develop methodology to ensure double digit growth in March for Babies in the West Region. Increased revenue ensures mission objectives are met.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Chapter Relationship Management:
- Work with chapters to leverage their contacts across the region to maximize income potential.
- Identify and recruit multi-state companies not being developed nationally.
- Participate in and help lead chapter March for Babies assessments in selected chapters as needed.
Revenue Development:
- Responsible and accountable for a specific amount of new money (determined annually) through new business development.
- Recruit a regional March for Babies chair that includes guaranteed income from their corporation.
- Work with regional marketing director to identify and develop new sponsorships.
Planning:
- Lead / facilitate March for Babies multi-market strategic planning sessions.
Data/Information Management:
- Work with Regional Directors of Fundraising and National Development Department to maximize return on all regional / national relationship opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in not-for-profit fundraising
- Volunteer management experience
- Project management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to travel
