LOCATION: Dallas, TX
REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement
POSITION PURPOSE:
Works with six assigned chapters providing service and leadership in March for Babies (WalkAmerica), Special Events, Sponsorship, Annual Gifts and other income areas.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides guidance to chapters in the development of fundraising strategies
- Serves in a hands capacity, as needed, in the event of key fund raising chapter vacancies
- Act as a member of the regional training faculty responsible for training volunteers and staff in group and one-on-one settings
- Partners with the area director in the overall management of the chapter
- Provides assistance in assessing, planning and evaluating WalkAmerica and Special Events
- Works on regional projects and priorities and some national initiatives as needed
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Expert knowledge and track record of fundraising practices
- Strong communications with outstanding interpersonal skills
- Analytical abilities
- Project management capabilities
- Proficiency with problem solving, reporting systems and software
- Minimum of 2-5 years successful chapter fund raising experience
- Must be able to travel
