REPORTS TO: State Director
LOCATION: Nevada Chapter, Southern Division, Las Vegas, NV
REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement
POSITION PURPOSE:
Organize and manage all activities in the division including program projects, fundraising, committee and board functions, communications and community services within the division area of the chapter.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit, train and develop volunteers and staff in fundraising, program and division activities
- Coordinate successful fundraising program to include individual and corporate solicitation and special events
- Provide organization visibility through public relations and promotional efforts
- Develop and effectively implement community service and educational programs
- Provide supervision and guidance
- Ensure appropriate budgeting and accounting within division
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- BA or equivalent
- Prior fundraising experience with event planning, individual & corporate solicitation experience
- Prior volunteer development experience
