Ann Stadtler wins Nurse of The Year Award
Boston Children’s Hospital Nurse Wins in Advanced Practice Category

With 47 years of practice, Ann’s philosophy is finely tuned: “be transparent, collaborate, be a team player and team leader. Respect team members and treat every job as equally important.”
1980 Ann was the 1st PNP in Montgomery County, Maryland. She established the role, helped MDs hire NPs, and championed equitable pay for PNPs. She was the incoming President of MD NAPNAP chapter, and after moving to Boston, she was the founding president of the Eastern Massachusetts Chapter.
Today, Ann is currently the Director of Site Development and Training for Brazelton Touchpoints Center, Boston Children's Hospital. She is also the Founding faculty of evidence based professional development program, Direct Touchpoints National Training Team. She has directed the development, training & technical assistance for more than 130 community teams. Sites include schools of nursing, public health departments, maternal child health, court systems, and Head Start.
She has received multiple awards including the 1st Brazelton Distinguished Leader Award and consults with many community organizations who focus on supporting professionals to provide relationship based care.
