Laurence Maroney of the New England Patriots tapes PSA for March of Dimes
My name is Terri Terrell and I am the mother of New England Patriots running back Laurence Maroney.  You probably don’t know that Laurence was a premature baby and was so small he could fit in the palm of my hand.  He struggled to survive and I spent many days feeding him through a tube and praying he would be alright.

Thankfully, not only did he survive but he is now playing professional football!  However, not all stories of premature birth turn out this way and that is why Laurence and I are honored to serve as the Honorary Chairs for the Boston March for Babies.

Normally Laurence runs for the goal line, but this year we will be walking with you so that one day all babies can be born healthy.  There are two weeks left and that means there is still plenty of time to fundraise online.  Every dollar counts, especially this year.  Thanks for all your efforts to give every baby a healthy start in life.

See you at March for Babies on May 9th at the DCR Hatch Shell on the Charles River!
