Join the March of Dimes Marketing Committee

The March of Dimes Massachusetts Chapter is looking for professional individuals to join their Marketing Committee. Led by Sean Ryan at the Boston Business Journal, the committee is aimed at implementing strategic marketing plans for statewide March of Dimes events. We are looking for each of the committee members to utilize their skill sets to help devise, execute and analyze our efforts. For example, one may be adept at editing copy while someone else may have extensive press contacts. The committee will meet once a month either by conference call or in person.

I know we all have our own reasons for volunteering with the March of Dimes but I would like to share mine. I had two nieces, Kelley and Jennifer, that only lived on this earth one day and one hour respectively. They were preemies. My daughter Shannon was a preemie and is now 10 years old. She loves soccer, worships Hannah Montana, and still thinks boys are gross. I know the March of Dimes, its mission, and out efforts helped save a baby girl or boy just like my Shannon. I want Shannon’s kids and your kids to have a fighting chance to be born healthy. The March of Dimes helped save Shannon and continues to fight so kids like Kelley and Jennifer can survive. We can make a difference.
