Capron Park Zoo Day of Logistics
It's almost time for the 2008 Bristol County March for Babies.  We can't wait to see you on September 27th.  Before then there are a few things we would like you to know.

 Where do I park?

Parking is available for free inside Capron Park Zoo. You can park in the parking lot next to the zoo or along the road that goes through the park. Additional parking is available at the school behind the park. Registration and all other activities will take place under the pavilion near the zoo entrance.

What is Registration and why do I need to register if I already did online?

Registration for the Capron Park March for Babies starts at 9:30am on September 27th, and will take place under the pavilion directly outside of the Zoo entrance.  All participants need to visit the registration tent. Registration is where you turn in money; receive information about incentives you may be eligible for, and your route card. In addition, all participants over the age of 2 will receive a bracelet at the registration tent to gain access to the zoo. If you have not registered online, you still have to time set up your account and raise money at www.marchforbabies.org. if you have not registered by September 27th, you will still have to visit the registration tent to do so and receive a bracelet.

How long is the Route?

The route is a short but beautiful walk route throughout the Park.  Bicycles, strollers and wagons are all welcome.

What if I can't Walk?

If you are unable to walk please still join us for the festivities. We are also in need of volunteers for Registration and other activities, so if you are interested in volunteering contact Leah Johnson at lbjohnson@marchofdimes.com or Malisa Iannino miannino@marchofdimes.com.

What do we do after the Walk?

After you are done walking, lunch will be served. Participants are encouraged to bring blankets to sit on the park grounds.  There will also be admission to the zoo, so make sure you bring your camera!  And don’t forget to stop by the mission area to learn about premature birth and sign our March for Babies banners.

Will the Walk be postponed if it rains?

The walk will not be postponed due to inclement weather.  Dress warm, bring an umbrella and we will see you there!

Donating is easy online, by phone or mail / fax.
