Maryland Women's Basketball Game

The University of Maryland women's basketball team will face No. 16 Ohio State at 7 p.m. Friday, November 30, at the Comcast Center. Maryland will donate $3 for each $5 ticket purchased using the "DIMES" promotional code.

In celebration of Coach Brenda Frese's pregnancy, the Maryland athletic department will hold the "World's Biggest Baby Shower" during Friday's game against the Buckeyes. The event, in honor of Coach Frese (who is due to give birth to twins in March), will support the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. All fans attending the game are encouraged to bring a new and unused packaged baby toy to the game.
The new March of Dimes PSA, "For Every Baby" featuring Grammy-nominated recording artist Heather Headley, will be played during the game on the arena's screens. Buy your tickets today and help support the March of Dimes and its efforts to give every baby--including Coach Frese's twins--a healthy start.
