Heroines in Technology Call for Nominations (Deadline is July 18)

The March of Dimes and Women in Technology (WIT) are issuing a call for nominations for the 2008 Heroines in Technology awards, which will be presented Friday, November 14, at the Hyatt Regency Reston in Reston, Va.
Heroines in Technology recognizes women in the technology industry who have used their experience, knowledge and skills to benefit the community. In addition, woman-owned or woman-run companies will be recognized for extraordinary commitment to local philanthropy and volunteer service.
Nominees will be considered from all segments of the technology industry in the Washington, D.C., area, including Biotechnology, IT Service Providers, Hardware, Software, Telecommunications, Government, Medical Technology and the Internet.
