Be a Hero for Babies Day in Michigan “Dodging Balls for Babies” on June 27th
Howell, MI
For the third consecutive year, Farmers Insurance Group agents nationwide will hold “Be a Hero for Babies Day” on June 3rd, aiming to raise more than $2 million for March of Dimes research and education programs to help moms have full term pregnancies and healthy babies. Michigan is taking it to the next level, the District Managers will hold a Dodgeball Tournament on June 27th beginning at 11 am.
On Friday, June 27th at Kicks & Sticks at 960 Victory Drive in Howell, the Farmers state claims office will hold its first annual “Dodging Balls for Babies” Michigan Dodgeball Madness Tourney. This will be a district verses district, tournament for Farmers employees but the public is welcome to cheer the team on, and donate to the March of Dime. All proceeds go to the March of Dimes – Be a Hero for Babies Day.
Last year, Farmers raised $2. 7 million in an historic one-day fund-raising effort, exceeding their $2 million goal. Again this year Farmers is matching all donations made on marchofdimes.com/farmers up to $250,000.
