Thanks to Minnesotans who pitched in at March for Babies and contributed to be sure the March of Dimes can continue to provide help and hope for babies and their families. We had a great turn out at March for Babies events across the state in spite of these trying times and some rocky weather.
Watch our Flickr photo stream to see the thousands of people who helped make this year’s March for Babies happen.
It’s clear that people know the importance of protecting the health of our country’s babies, and they’re coming through with commitment to that cause and generosity. These efforts must continue.
March for Babies is not over until we reach our goal! Without additional support, the March of Dimes may have to cut back on research that saves babies’ lives and may not be able to help all the families who depend on its highly respected program that gives comfort and information if they have a baby in intensive care.
Many of you braved cold and rain at March for Babies events around the state, but not everyone made it on walk day. Don’t let the weather deter the March of Dimes from our mission. If you didn’t make it to March for Babies or are still collecting donations, help us reach our goals by turning in outstanding donations to our state office:
March of Dimes 5233 Edina Industrial Blvd Edina, MN 55439
Please convert any cash to a check or money order before mailing. Include your name and/or team name with your donations. Checks can be made payable to: March of Dimes MN Chapter. You can also submit your donations online at marchforbabies.org.
Don’t forget you still qualify for incentives: t-shirts, sweatshirts, Macy’s gift cards and Minnesota Twins tickets. Donations must be received by May 31, 2009 to qualify for incentives and awards.
On behalf of March of Dimes Minnesota Chapter, and the families we serve, thank you again for your efforts, contributions and support of the March of Dimes, we truly hope you will walk again next year!
