Broadcasters for Babies
St. Louis Union Station
Leading St. Louis radio stations -- who compete every day for ratings -- team up for the sixth annual Broadcasters for Babies. This event raises awareness among Missouri and Metro East listeners of the epidemic of prematurity. More than 13.3 percent of all babies in Missouri and Metro East are born too soon. Premature birth is the leading cause of death of babies before their first birthday. Many of these babies experience lifelong health and learning consequences from being born too soon.
Stop by the second floor of Union Station near Memories Museum, Friday, November 14, to meet your favorite radio personality and learn how you can help give all babies a healthy start. Get information from March of Dimes and St. Louis hospitals about mom and baby health. Hear the stories of families affected by premature birth.
Anyone making a $10 donation to March of Dimes will receive free parking for the day from Union Station.
