Why Support the March of Dimes?

The Greater Missouri Chapter of the March of Dimes is a leader in our community for saving babies through research, advocacy, comunity services and education.

Thank you for your interest in the volunteer opportunities with the March of Dimes.

Volunteering for the March of Dimes will give you an opportunity to work on special events throughout the year, such as the annual golf tournament, March for Babies, the Chef’s Auction, and Bikers for Babies.  Other office opportunities are also available.

If you are interested in volunteering with the March of Dimes, please sign up or call one of our offices.

Funds for March of Dimes research, education, advocacy and community programs are generated through fundraising events. Participants purchase tickets to dinners, awards programs or solicit donations from friends and associates for March for Babies, Jail & Bail and Ride.

If you are interested in participating in a fundraising event with the March of Dimes, please e-mail us or call one of our offices.

Goodwill Ambassadors in Missouri are children who have benefited from March of Dimes research or programs. They play a vital role in spreading the word about the March of Dimes, our accomplishments and the work yet to be done. Ambassador families share their stories at various March of Dimes functions.

If you are interested in the March of Dimes Ambassador Program, please e-mail us or call one of our offices.

Donating is easy online, by phone or mail / fax.

Volunteer Recognition and Awards
The Greater Missouri Chapter Honors its Volunteers with Awards.

Connor Henry, Missouri Ambassador
Connor Henry was born weighing a whopping 2 lbs. 2 oz. on Dec. 22, 2001. Although tiny by most standards, Connor was quite large for his gestational age--he was born only 25 weeks into his mother's pregnancy in spite of good nutrition and prenatal care.
