Preventing Preventable Preterm Birth
St. Louis

Premature birth in Missouri is an epidemic, with 13.3 percent of babies born too soon every year. Experts in the fields of medicine, business, government, and insurance will gather to put a community plan in place to tackle premature birth. Discussions will focus on late preterm birth, behavioral risk factors, and the rise of Cesarean sections.  Dr. Paul Meis will discuss the trials of the new progesterone treatment for women who previously have delivered early.  Participants will close the conference by developing action steps to reduce preterm births in Missouri and measures to hold each of us accountable.

Missouri just received an "F" on its March of Dimes state report card, so this conference is more vital than ever.  Sign up today!
