Circle K to Help Raise Funds for Stronger, Healthier Babies

Circle K Stores kicked off its 17th annual “Pick-A-Pumpkin Campaign” on October 12 to raise money for March of Dimes research and education programs. Stores will sell paper pumpkins for the campaign that now includes all the stores in the Midwest and Great Lakes Regions.

“The Pick-A-Pumpkin campaign demonstrates the commitment by Circle K store managers and associates to help the March of Dimes improve the health of babies,” said Mark Novak, Director of Human Resources for Circle K Stores. “But we know there is still work to be done in the communities where our employees and customers live and work. We want to build on our success and help ensure a bright, healthy future for all babies.”

Circle K has raised nearly $5-million to benefit the four million babies born each year in this country. In 2011, Circle K associates raised a record $1.005 million through donations from customers, friends and family.

Paper pumpkins will be available for purchase for $1.00 and $5.00 at all Circle K stores from Oct. 12to Nov. 2, 2012. The purchaser signs their name to the pumpkin and the purchased pumpkins create a seasonal store display.
