8:00 a.m.- Welcome and Opening Remarks

The 2nd Annual Prematurity Summit: Journey to 40 Weeks will enhance the knowledge of participants regarding the issues of premature birth. The journey will start with a speaker and a parent panel who will discuss the impact of having a baby in the NICU. The second morning speaker will explore the risk factors for preterm birth and treatments for prevention. Afternoon sessions include preconception health, depression during pregnancy and the impact of prematurity on the infant, parents and society.
