Southern Nevada Nurse of the Year
Las Vegas, NV
This annual event honors distinguished southern Nevada nurses with a banquet and awards presentation. Patients, friends, co-workers and other health professionals nominate nurses in 23 categories including the category of "Distinguished Nurse of the Year" and "Nurses' Choice". To become an official nominee, nurses must complete a biographical data form, which is then used for judging by a committee of peers. A winner and runner-up in each category are recognized before all those attending the event. Corporate sponsorship covers the costs of the event and provides funds to further the mission of the March of Dimes. This is the largest and oldest event of its kind in the nation.

Biographical forms are due Oct. 31, 2008
Nurses choice nominations are due by Oct. 31, 2008
Distinguished Nurse of the Year must be received by Oct. 31, 2008

| Tickets and tables: |
Individual tickets are $85, and tables for 10 are $850. Deadline to purchase tickets is Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008.
