| The March of Dimes recently held its first ever Born to Shine Gala at the Trump Marina in Atlantic City, NJ, honoring five South Jersey doctors in the maternal and infant health field. 400 guests attended the gala which raised over $215,000 to support the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies.
Born to Shine honorees were (pictured here left to right) Joseph L. DeStefano, MD, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center; John Tedeschi, MD, Chief of Pediatrics, Virtua Health System; Margaret Fernandes, MD, Chief of Neonatology, Lourdes Health System; William Sharrar, MD, Chief of Department of Pediatrics, Cooper University Hospital; and Joseph Bottalico, DO, Director, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Kennedy Health System. All are experts in their field and have been instrumental in the care of expectant mothers and infants in South Jersey. |
