Wonderwalk Materials Now Available

Children from across the state have enjoyed participating in this event and raising money to give every baby a healthy start.  WonderWalk®,  a child-friendly event introduces children to volunteering. 
Funds raised by WonderWalk support March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have healthy pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. Providing local schools with opportunities like WonderWalk® to learn the importance of helping others, can be a fundamental part of helping them develop into good community citizens.  

The event has also allowed for older students to engage and mentor younger students.  This gives the older students a sense of leadership and exercise their team building skills, while offering their younger counterparts a chance to interact with these young leaders in a new way.  Overall the activity has shown to be a well received and a additional resource for teachers in the state.

 


 
To start a Wonderwalk at your daycare center or school please reach out to one of our three office locations close to your area and someone will be able to give you a consultation on the event as well as provide some of the associated materials.
