2008 Community Grants
The March of Dimes New Jersey Chapter provided grants to various Community Organizations in 2008 in an effort to help women have healthy, full-term babies.





NICU Family Support at Capital Health System
Through the NICU Family Support, the March of Dimes is helping to alleviate the emotional distress so common to families whose baby is the NICU. Capital Health System in Trenton is one of the nation's hospitals to benefit from the program.





Body and Soul
Body and Soul is a prenatal health curriculum that seeks to connect the mind, body, and soul for stress reduction during pregnancy. 





Comenzando Bien
Comenzando bien is the March of Dimes prenatal education program for Hispanic women. It was developed in partnership with the National Alliance for Hispanic Health and is culturally and linguistically appropriate for Hispanic women.





Stork's Nest
Stork’s Nest is a cooperative project of the March of Dimes and the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. that provides prenatal education and incentives for low-income pregnant women.





Chain Reaction Youth and Collegiate Councils
Chain Reaction and Collegiate Council trains volunteers for the present and community leaders for the future.





Project Alpha
This collaborative project of the March of Dimes and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. provides young males with education, motivation and skill-building on issues of responsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.
