At their annual "FDR Awards," the South Jersey Division of the March of Dimes honored Harvey Ravinsky, President of Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelry and the Sykes Family of Atlantic County.
The March of Dimes Central Jersey Division presented “Franklin Awards” to the following volunteers and organizations: Todd T. Brungard Sr. of Bridgewater, Jacqueline Budenas of Bayville, Ellen Carreno of Palm Harbor, Florida (formerly of NJ), Christopher A. Fox of Plainsboro, Randy Gutentag of Piscataway, Mark Hall of Colts Neck, Nick Mazzocchi of Lebanon, Carol Tarpey of Middletown, Capital Health System located in Trenton, Chanel, Inc. located in Piscataway, Carl Goetz Middle School located in Jackson, and South Amboy Middle/High School located in South Amboy. Trish Michalkowski of Hamilton was honored with the prestigious “VIP Award.”
The North Jersey Division honored eighteen area volunteers for their contributions to the March of Dimes in 2004. Congratulations to the recipients: Rookies of the Year were, Henry Acosta, one of the founding members of the Hispanic Advisory Committee to the March of Dimes and Kirsten Micco of North Fork Bank. Brungard Youth Award recipient was Ryan Chada of Wayne Hills High School. Honorable mention in the youth category went to Zach Stein of Fair Lawn and Xhenet Vukel of the Wallkill Valley High School FBLA. Triangle Award for Excellence in Communications recipient was Ruben Rodriguez of Comcast Newsmakers. Triangle Award for Excellence in Program Services recipient was Sister Alice Sullivan of St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic. Honorable mention in this category went to Gisela Rodriguez of UMDNJ - NJ Medical School. FDR Award recipients were Peter Cistaro of PSEG, Vito Nardelli of Ocean First Bank, the March of Dimes Harvest Ball Committee and Leon Skorupski, top walker from Bloomfield. The esteemed Jonas Salk award went to Kenneth Lieberman of BAE Systems. |
