FedEx Driver and National Ambassador Spread the Message for Healthy Moms and Babies

          WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., April 12, 2012— FedEx Racing driver Denny Hamlin and 2012 March of Dimes National Ambassador Kieran Wittstruck, age six, will team up at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend to help “rev up” revenue and awareness for the March of Dimes top fundraising event, March for Babies.

          “I’m so proud to help support the effort of the March of Dimes again this weekend,” said Hamlin, a two-time Texas race winner. “This is the fifth time we have had their logo on the hood of our race car, and each year it gives our FedEx team the extra boost it needs to try to get to victory lane.”

          The #11 FedEx Office/March for Babies® Toyota will be raced this weekend by Hamlin, under the guidance of pro football Hall of Fame team owner Coach Joe Gibbs, and young Kieran, who was born at 31 weeks, weighing just three pounds, one ounce. Thanks to March of Dimes-funded treatments and the medical care Kieran received, he’s thriving today and traveling the country with his parents.
