NEW YORK, APRIL 20, 2011 -- Kmart and March of Dimes supporters, including a few dozen moms, babies, and children, marched down Broadway from Times Square today during a "Babies on Broadway" event to raise awareness and donations for March for Babies®, the fundraising event that helps give all babies a healthy start in life. March for Babies 2011 will take place in about 900 communities nationwide the last weekend of April. Kmart is the March of Dimes longest standing corporate supporter and largest contributor to its mission. This is the 28th year that Kmart is partnering with the March of Dimes and their 19th year as a national sponsor of March for Babies. To make a donation, go to any Kmart store from now until May 28.
