Farmers Insurance Employees and Agents Celebrate 7th Annual Be a Hero for Babies Day® Wearing Purple on “Today”

June 21, 2012

Celebrating another successful Be a Hero For Babies Day, a group of Farmers Insurance volunteer moms, dads and their newborns were greeted by co-anchor Al Roker on NBC’s “Today” at Rockefeller Plaza this morning. Wearing March of Dimes signature purple T-shirts, the group spoke with Al about all the activities that Farmers insurance employees, agents, and district managers are doing nationwide today to support March of Dimes efforts for stronger, healthier babies. Last year, the one-day fundraiser brought in $2.5 million dollars to benefit the health of America’s moms and babies.
